What do I expect for my first visit?
Your first visit will include a comprehensive exam by Dr. Beck that takes about an hour. This is an opportunity for him to get to know you as well as answer any questions you have about your oral health.

At this first visit, dental x-rays will be taken, unless you have current films from a previous dentist. Current films would include biting x-rays taken within the past year and a panoramic or full mouth series of x-rays taken in the past three to five years. Dr. Beck will check your teeth for decay and assess the integrity of your current dental work. His exam will also include a check for periodontal (gum) disease, as well as an oral cancer screening. Your exam will also include an evaluation of your bite.

If you would like your first visit to include a cleaning with a hygienist, please let us know when you schedule your appointment. Our hygienist will see you immediately following your visit with Dr. Beck.

What if I need further dental treatment?

If treatment is needed, this will be scheduled for a future visit. At your request, we will give you a printed treatment plan that includes all necessary treatment as well as costs and an estimate of what your insurance benefits will be (if applicable).

Initial Visit Payment
In order to establish your account as well as your insurance benefits, we ask that this visit be paid in full. We are happy to submit to your insurance and have them reimburse you (in 2-3 weeks, in most cases). Payment for future visits will be discussed when you schedule those appointments.

Forms
We will mail forms for you to fill out when you call to schedule your initial visit. Or you can download those forms below from this web page. You can either fax the completed forms to us (308-632-3879), e-mail them to office@scottsbluffdentist.com, or bring them to your dental appointment.

We look forward to meeting you!
